Last June 26-28, 2024, Saint Mary’s College of Baliuag, Inc. proudly hosted an intensive Matatag Curriculum Seminar aimed at equipping educators with the tools and knowledge needed for the Department of Education’s new thrust. Over three enriching days, dedicated teachers from private schools across the Baliwag City gathered to delve into innovative teaching strategies and curriculum updates designed to enhance educational outcomes and foster resilience in students.

The seminar featured engaging workshops, collaborative sessions, and expert-led discussions, focusing on the implementation of the Matatag Curriculum. Attendees explored new pedagogical approaches, curriculum frameworks, and assessment techniques to align with the latest educational standards and best practices.

The event not only emphasized the importance of adapting to new educational paradigms but also highlighted the critical role of continuous professional development in shaping a dynamic and responsive learning environment.

Certificates of appreciation were given to the speakers and participants of the different private schools by the Schools Division Superintendent, Rowena T. Quiambao, CESO VI on the last day.

Special thanks to the keynote speakers, workshop facilitators, and all participants for their commitment to educational excellence and innovation. Together, we are building a stronger foundation for our students’ future success!
