Grade 11 Business and Entrepreneurship Students Take Their First Step in Accounting
Learning becomes more meaningful when students are given opportunities to apply concepts through hands-on experiences. This was evident as the Grade 11 Business and Entrepreneurship students embarked on another significant milestone in their accounting journey by preparing their very first Accounting Worksheet.
The Accounting Worksheet is an important part of the accounting cycle, serving as the bridge between recording business transactions in journals and preparing accurate financial statements. Through this activity, students were able to organize financial data, analyze information, and understand how every transaction contributes to the overall financial picture of a business.
More than just working with numbers, the activity helped develop essential skills such as critical thinking, accuracy, attention to detail, and perseverance. These competencies are vital not only for future accountants but also for aspiring entrepreneurs, managers, and business leaders.

Each completed worksheet reflects the students’ dedication to learning and their commitment to excellence. As they continue to build their knowledge and skills, they are also laying a strong foundation for future success in the field of business and finance.

St. Mary’s College of Baliuag, Inc. remains committed to providing meaningful learning experiences that empower students to become competent, ethical, and innovative professionals who are ready to make a positive impact in the world of business.
