Senior Kinder – Hope Celebrates Nutrition Month with a Sandwich Making Contest

St. Mary’s College of Baliuag, Inc. continues to promote holistic development by encouraging healthy living among its learners through meaningful and engaging activities. As part of the school’s Nutrition Month Celebration, the pupils of Senior Kinder – Hope enthusiastically participated in a Sandwich Making Contest, where they discovered that preparing healthy food can be both educational and enjoyable.
With bright smiles and eager hands, the young Ignacian Marians carefully assembled their own nutritious sandwiches using a variety of fresh and healthy ingredients. More than a friendly competition, the activity provided an opportunity for the children to develop creativity, fine motor skills, independence, and an appreciation for healthy eating.
Guided by their adviser and supportive parents, the pupils learned the importance of making nutritious food choices at an early age—an essential step toward building lifelong healthy habits. The event also highlighted the value of confidence, cooperation, and responsibility as the children proudly presented their delicious creations.
Through activities like these, St. Mary’s remains committed to forming learners who value wellness alongside academic excellence, living out its mission of nurturing individuals grounded in Faith, Excellence, and Service.

Indeed, Nutrition Month reminds us that a healthy body and a healthy mind are essential foundations for a brighter future. Congratulations to our Senior Kinder – Hope pupils for making this celebration both memorable and inspiring!
